For more than ten years, I’ve helped parents navigate what goes into the products they use on their babies. As a mom of three, I’ve done the same at home, reading labels, searching for better options, and finding workarounds when what I wanted simply didn’t exist.
Over time, I started asking a different question: Does baby care really need to be this complicated? Does every ingredient need to be there? What if some of the products we use every day could simply be… simpler?
That idea became Gentle Nursery, the brand we’re building today. We’re starting with a baby wipe made from just one ingredient: 100% cotton. No complicated formula. Nothing unnecessary. Just baby care, made simpler.

We make thoughtfully designed baby-care essentials that help everyday care feel a little simpler.
While preparing for my third baby, I found myself looking at baby wipes the same way I had looked at thousands of products before them.
I read the labels, researched the materials, and kept running into the same problem: I couldn’t find the wipes I felt good about.
I didn’t want a complicated formula with fragrance or unnecessary additives. I wanted a soft cotton wipe that gave me the choice to use it dry or add water.
So I made it.
Our Cotton Dry Wipes are made with one ingredient: 100% cotton. Use them dry or simply add water. You decide what goes on the wipe and what touches your baby’s skin.
It was the simplest product I could imagine, and somehow, it was the one I kept searching for.
The wipes were only the beginning.
As we began creating more products under Gentle Nursery, I knew I wanted to approach every one of them the same way.
Instead of asking, “What can we add?” we start by asking:
“What does this product actually need?”
Every ingredient, material, and detail should have a reason to be there. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t belong.
That question has become the foundation of everything we make.
We believe babies deserve products made with intention. That’s why every ingredient, material, and detail is carefully considered before earning the Gentle Nursery name.

I care deeply about every ingredient, material, and detail. But Gentle Nursery has never been about perfection. Parenthood is busy, and none of us can control everything our children encounter.
It’s about making thoughtful choices where we can, especially with the products we reach for again and again.
